This week, Organization Quest saw three milestones: Monday was the first time the Quest had over 100 hits in one day; Thursday was the one-month anniversary of going online; and today saw a total of 1,000 hits since the blog's inception.
When I started this blog, I'd hoped that my journey to get progressively more organized would find an audience. I didn't anticipate we'd have visitors from Germany, the UK, France, Norway, Canada, Australia and Palestine, and US traffic from all corners and everywhere in-between. I'm not sure if the appeal is the subject of organizing itself or watching someone attempt, no matter how clumsy, to become organized. I'm just grateful that people have found Organization Quest, and have taken steps in starting or continuing a Quest of their own.
"Aren't people who write organization blogs already organized?" Alpay had asked, when I had told him my concept for this blog.
"That's where the 'Quest' part comes in," I said. "Otherwise, I'd call it www.I'm-organized-and-you're-not-so-there!.com, and what would be the point in that?"
